Tanka Fund Executive Director, Dawn Sherman, is entering the new year with a significant role representing her tribe, the Delaware Tribe of Indians of Bartlesville, as one of the newest member tribes of the InterTribal Buffalo Council.
"I am humbled to represent our people and our commitment to supporting the return of Buffalo to Native lands, lives, and economies," she said.
Ms. Sherman was inducted as her tribe’s representative to the ITBC at a special ceremony on Dec. 10 during ITBC’s annual meeting in Las Vegas, NV. ITBC assists Tribes in the development of a consistent supply chain, uniform labeling, packaging and product distribution.
