10 years strong: Tanka Fund at Black Hills Powwow

We’re so grateful for everyone who visited our booth at this year’s Black Hills Powwow (He Sapa Wacipi) in Rapid City, South Dakota. It was especially meaningful to return to the event where Tanka Fund began a decade ago.

We loved seeing so many of you stop by for our special giveaways, including the anniversary blanket and our 2025 calendar, spotlighting our rancher partners’ Buffalo. The life-size Buffalo photo op was a hit, and we enjoyed sharing insights with you about our work with Native ranchers and our Climate Smart initiative. Your support means the world as we continue our mission to bring Buffalo back to Native lands, lives, and economies.
