Tanka Fund to present at Food Sovereignty Summit

Tanka Fund Executive Director Dawn Sherman will be presenting about our work to return Buffalo to Native lands, lives and economies at the 2024 Food Sovereignty Summit, Oct. 16-17, in Suquamish, WA.

Hosted by the First Nations Development Institute, the summit will feature attendees and speakers from tribal communities across the country who are actively involved in food sovereignty work, including caring for our land, sustaining food systems, and strengthening Tribal Sovereignty and partnerships between Native nations.
