Tanka Fund boosts Native Buffalo ranches with $118K in grants

Buffalo at Texas Tribal Buffalo Project — one of our rancher partners.

Tanka Fund is dedicated to restoring Buffalo to Native lands, lives, and economies by providing funding to Native ranchers. In May 2024, we awarded $118,000 to support and expand Buffalo ranch operations.
