Reminder: Regional Buffalo to Schools Conference June 21-24

If you are planning to attend, please remember to register for the Regional Buffalo to Schools Conference to be held in Rapid City, SD, June 21-24. Tanka Fund is one of the collaborators on the conference, which is focused on school food service professionals, school administrators, teachers, tribal herd managers, ranchers, processors, and others.

The conference leaders are looking for feedback on additional conference topics. For more information: kayann@mtpech.org

The schedule is as follows:

June 21-22: Traditional Buffalo Harvest, 777 Ranch, south of Rapid City.

June 23-24: Conference at Western Dakota Technical College, Rapid City.

Hands-on, school meal culinary workshops with Buffalo meat will be available.
