Media Advisory: Grand Opening of Sacred Storm Buffalo July 27**

Rapid City, SD — On Saturday, July 27, NDN Collective, alongside partners Wambli Ska Okolakiciye, Tanka Fund, and Makoce Agriculture Development will host the grand opening of Sacred Storm Buffalo –  a new Indigenous-owned workforce development enterprise whose mission is to create sustainable futures through food sovereignty and cultural preservation. 

Saturday’s event is a celebration of Sacred Storm Buffalo’s opening, which marks a milestone in the effort to return buffalo – an essential part of traditional food systems – to Native lands, economies, and everyday lives. 

There will be an open house for the Rapid City community that will include tours of the new buffalo meat processing facility, food, games, and meet & greets with Wambli Ska apprentices.
