Bringing back buffalo improves the land.

Much can be learned from buffalo as their grazing patterns influence the prairie ecosystem. In addition, they are part of the regeneration of the land as grazing management and conservation practices are implemented.

Bringing back buffalo improves lives.

The connection of what buffalo meant to the tribe, to the people, to the land, to the environment is unwavering. It is part of the culture as
people watch and study buffalo with Indigenous philosophy and participate in ceremonies that are connected to the animals.

Bringing back buffalo improves Native economies.

Our hope is to visualize what returning 30-40 million buffalo back to our Native community might look like. We have two projects working that are ready for buffalo this fall in addition to five startups we began helping in 2021.
